MailerCheck alternatives
The flat penny-a-credit rate is what sends people looking, and it usually happens the month a list crosses into six figures.

Read from each vendor's own pricing page in September 2026. Vendors who block automated checks are shown without figures rather than with numbers we could not confirm. We are one of the options listed, and you should read this knowing that.
Why people look elsewhere
The flat rate. A penny an address never improves, and on any list above a few thousand the volume-tiered challengers pull away quickly. Nobody notices at ten thousand and everybody notices at a million.
A single flat rate of $0.01 a credit with a 1,000-credit minimum, and one wallet spent across three products at different rates. Verification is one credit an address; an inbox-placement test is two hundred credits; email insights the same. No volume tier is published, so the arithmetic above the minimum is just multiplication.
What MailerCheck does that we do not
Migrating a verification workflow costs real time, so these are the capabilities to weigh against it.
- Inbox-placement testing out of the same credit balance as verification. A pure verifier cannot offer that, and buying it separately means a second vendor.
- Credits never expire and there is no card required to try, which is a friendlier combination than most of this category manages.
- MailerLite family credibility and an established path into an ESP that many teams already use.
Before you move off MailerCheck
Run the same sample through two vendors and the interesting number is not how many came back valid.
Do the multiplication for your real volume
A flat penny a credit is invisible at a thousand addresses and loud at a hundred thousand. Work out your annual number before anything else.
Count your inbox-placement tests
Two hundred credits each, from the same wallet as verification. If you run them weekly, that is a real part of your spend and a real thing to replace.
Ask about unresolved results
Their terms do not address whether those consume a credit. At a penny an address on a B2B list, a quarter of the file is a meaningful sum.
Confirm the never-expire term still holds
It is stated on their pricing page and it is worth keeping in whatever you move to. A few vendors in this category expire credits in thirty days.
What switching actually involves
Straightforward for the verification. The complication is the shared wallet: inbox-placement tests cost two hundred credits each, so a team using both is buying one thing and spending it on two. Work out the split before you price a verification-only replacement.

Questions about moving off MailerCheck
Are we really paying a penny at every volume?
That is what their page publishes: a flat per-credit rate and a thousand-credit minimum, with no tier table. If your account has a negotiated rate, use that rather than this page.
What replaces the inbox-placement testing?
A separate deliverability vendor. ZeroBounce and EmailHippo both sell placement or intelligence products; no pure verifier in this table does.
Why do people leave MailerCheck?
The flat rate. A penny an address never improves, and on any list above a few thousand the volume-tiered challengers pull away quickly. Nobody notices at ten thousand and everybody notices at a million.
How hard is it to switch verifiers?
For bulk cleaning, no harder than uploading the file somewhere else. For real-time checks on a signup form it is an API swap, which is an afternoon.
Split your credit spend between verification and placement tests first. That split tells you whether you are replacing one product or two.
