Terms of service
The agreement between you and ZapBounce, in language you can actually read.

1. What we provide
ZapBounce checks whether an email address is likely to accept mail, using our own SMTP verification. We return one of four verdicts: valid, invalid, catch-all or unknown.
2. What a credit buys
One credit is one address that produced a verdict. Prices run from $5 for 1,000 addresses to $949 for 1,000,000. Credits do not expire. The free tier is 100 credits a month and refreshes on its own.
We do not charge for duplicates inside one upload, for addresses rejected at the syntax stage, or for addresses that came back unknown.
3. What you are responsible for
You are the controller of the addresses you upload and you need a lawful basis for holding them. Verification does not create one. You are also responsible for how you use the results: a valid verdict is not permission to email someone.
4. What we do not promise
No verifier can confirm a mailbox on a catch-all domain, and several large providers deliberately answer in ways that defeat verification. A valid verdict is our best reading of the server's answer at that moment, not a guarantee of delivery, and an address can stop working the day after it is checked.
We publish no uptime commitment and no measured accuracy figure yet, and ZapBounce carries no certifications. Nothing here is advice about your own legal obligations.
5. Fair use
The API is rate limited, and the limits are documented. Do not use ZapBounce to test whether addresses exist for the purpose of harvesting them, and do not upload lists you have no right to hold.
6. Ending it
Stop using it whenever you like. Credits you have bought remain until spent. Delete your jobs if you want the uploaded addresses gone, since closing an account is not the same action as deleting data.
7. Changes
If these terms change in a way that affects you, you will be told before it takes effect.
