ZapBounce and Saleshandy
Saleshandy paces sending per mailbox deliberately, ramping volume slowly to protect reputation. That pacing is the product working as designed.
It also means each day's sending volume is a scarce resource, and every dead address in the queue consumes part of it.
Rationed volume spent on addresses that do not exist
A mailbox ramping at fifty sends a day cannot make up lost ground. If fifteen of today's fifty bounce, that is thirty percent of a day's capacity gone with no way to recover it tomorrow.
The bounces also work against the ramp itself. Saleshandy's pacing exists to build reputation, and bounces at volume undo exactly what the slow ramp is building.
So the cost is doubled: capacity spent, and the reputation the capacity was buying damaged at the same time.
How the data moves
Verify before the prospect list is imported
The import fills the queue, and the queue is what the daily ration draws from.
Order the queue by verdict
Confirmed addresses first. If a campaign is going to be paused halfway, you want the confirmed half to have gone already.
Keep unresolvable addresses out of the ramp
A mailbox in its first weeks of warmup should send only to addresses that were confirmed. Experiment later, with an established mailbox.
Re-verify long queues
At fifty a day, a ten-thousand-address list takes months to work through. Re-verify the tail before it is reached.
Setting it up
- Verify the prospect file before importing to Saleshandy.
- Import only addresses that came back confirmed into your warming mailboxes' campaigns.
- Put catch-all addresses in a separate campaign on established mailboxes only.
- Discard or hold the unresolved addresses rather than queueing them.
- Re-verify the back half of any queue that will take more than a month to work through.
- Monitor bounce rate per mailbox, since that is the unit Saleshandy paces on.
Saleshandy: common questions
Why does list quality matter more during warmup?
Because a ramping mailbox has no reputation buffer. Bounces early in a ramp undo exactly what the slow pace is building.
Should I verify a queue that will take months?
Verify at import and re-verify the tail before it is reached. Data that old is not what you checked.
Where do catch-all addresses belong?
On established mailboxes, in their own campaign, never in a warmup ramp.
