Bouncer pricing, explained

Bouncer publishes one of the clearest price ladders in email verification. You can read it in a minute. What takes longer is working out what each step costs your list, and how that rate compares once the file grows.

A flat ladder you can read in one pass

Bouncer sells credits in fixed packs. You pick a volume, you pay the price beside it, and the credits sit in your account until you use them. There is no subscription to manage and no minimum monthly spend. For a finance team, that is an easy line to approve.

The rate falls as the pack grows. A thousand checks cost $8 and a million cost $2,000. So your real question is which pack matches the lists you actually clean. If you verify ten thousand addresses a quarter, the $60 pack is your number. If a big import lands once a year, the larger packs matter more.

The billing rules are the strong part

Bouncer does not charge for duplicate rows or for results it could not resolve. That matters more than the headline rate. On a list with a lot of accept-all domains and Yahoo addresses, the unresolved share is where a careless vendor quietly bills you. Read our note on what an unknown result means for the mechanics.

Credits never expiring is the other rule worth having. Most of this market works that way now. Kickbox and Hunter are the two named exceptions, with a twelve-month clock on credits. Bouncer is on the right side of that line, and so is ZapBounce.

What the same list costs at ZapBounce

ZapBounce keeps every rule above: credits that never expire, no charge for duplicates, and no charge for an unknown. The difference is the rate. You pay $5 for 1,000, $25 for 10,000, $139 for 100,000 and $949 for a million. Every tier is on our pricing page, with no minimum purchase.

The free allowance works differently too. Bouncer gives 100 credits once. ZapBounce gives 100 free checks every month with no card, so a small weekly batch may never need a purchase. The full side-by-side sits on ZapBounce vs Bouncer.

Working out your own number

Take the lists you cleaned in the last twelve months and add up the rows. Then place that total on each ladder. That tells you what verification costs you per year, which is the only figure that matters for a budget.

Run one real file through both services before you move anything large. You'll see the rate, and you'll also see how many rows came back without a verdict. If you're weighing Bouncer against another vendor, Bouncer vs Emailable and Bouncer vs Clearout cover those pairs, and the comparisons hub lists the rest.

What Bouncer gets right and wrong on price

Both columns are required here. A page that only fills one is an advertisement wearing a review's clothes.

Where Bouncer is genuinely good

  • A flat, published ladder from 1,000 to a million checks, so the price of any pack is on the page.
  • No charge for duplicate rows or for unknown results.
  • Credits never expire, so a pack bought for one project still works on the next.
  • Pay-as-you-go packs with no subscription to cancel.

Where Bouncer falls short

  • $8 for the first 1,000 checks, against a $5 entry elsewhere in this market.
  • The free allowance is 100 credits once, not a monthly allowance.
  • Bouncer publishes no accuracy percentage, so you have no stated figure to hold a result against.
  • At a million checks the published price is $2,000.
