DeBounce review

This review reads DeBounce on its own published pages, checked on 24 September 2026. It covers what the deliverability guarantee promises, what the low headline rate includes, how catch-all rows are billed, and how to test it against a list you've already mailed.

What the 97.5% guarantee covers

DeBounce promises 97.5% deliverability, split as 95% on Microsoft and 98% on other providers, and repays a shortfall in credits. That's a firm promise, and it's worth reading exactly. It caps bounces on the addresses DeBounce marked safe to send.

A guarantee of that shape says nothing about how much of the file got a safe verdict in the first place. Rows marked unknown or accept-all fall outside it. ZapBounce reports that share as coverage on every file, beside the accuracy of the verdicts, so you see the whole list accounted for. Our accuracy page sets out the method.

The headline rate and the catch-all add-on

The $0.00045 figure is the base check at DeBounce's largest tier. Catch-all validation is a second product at 10 credits an address. On a consumer list with few accept-all domains, the headline rate holds. On a B2B export, where many rows sit on company servers that accept everyone, the add-on line can set the bill.

Work out your share before you buy. ZapBounce bills a catch_all row at one credit, the same as any other, after a single random-address probe at the same domain. The quote before a run is the bill after it: $25 for 10,000 and $139 for 100,000 on our pricing page. The full DeBounce model is on our DeBounce pricing page.

Speed and integrations

DeBounce puts bulk speed at under 2 hours per 100,000. Published speeds across the market run from 7 minutes at Emailable to under 2 hours at DeBounce, with ZeroBounce at 45 to 60 minutes, all read on 24 September 2026. So DeBounce sits at the patient end of that range.

Its strength is breadth of connections to email service providers, so a list can be cleaned where it already lives. ZapBounce connects through the API, CSV upload and Zapier, and every result carries the literal smtp_code so you can audit the reading. The integrations hub lists each route.

Credits, free checks and unknowns

DeBounce credits never expire, and a new account gets 100 free. We found no stated policy on billing unknown results, so ask before a large run. On a list heavy with Yahoo, AOL or Microsoft 365 addresses, that answer changes the invoice.

ZapBounce credits never expire either, 100 free credits arrive every month with no card, and an unknown result is never billed. Neither is a duplicate row. Read what an unknown result means for the reasons we attach to each one.

Testing DeBounce on your own list

Take 1,000 addresses you've already mailed, where you know which ones bounced. Run them through DeBounce with and without the catch-all add-on, and through ZapBounce's free monthly checks plus a $5 pack. Compare the cost, the verdicts against your real bounces, and the rows each tool left open.

The scorecard on DeBounce

Both columns are required here. A page that only fills one is an advertisement wearing a review's clothes.

Where DeBounce is genuinely good

  • A low base rate, from $0.00045 a check at the largest tier.
  • A written deliverability guarantee repaid in credits.
  • Credits never expire, and 100 free credits to start.
  • Wide coverage of email service provider connections.

Where DeBounce falls short

  • Catch-all validation costs 10 credits an address, so accept-all-heavy lists cost far more than the headline.
  • No stated policy on billing unknown results.
  • Bulk speed of under 2 hours per 100,000 sits at the slow end of published figures.
  • The guarantee covers addresses marked safe, and says nothing about the share of the file that got that verdict.

What does the DeBounce guarantee cover?

DeBounce guarantees 97.5% deliverability on addresses it marks safe, 95% on Microsoft and 98% elsewhere, and repays a shortfall in credits. The guarantee caps bounces on those verdicts. Rows marked unknown or accept-all sit outside it.

How much does DeBounce charge for catch-all emails?

How fast is DeBounce?
