EmailHippo pricing, explained
EmailHippo sells more than a verifier. Bulk verification is the entry point, and fraud scoring and domain intelligence sit above it as separate products. So the first question on price is which of those you're actually buying.
| What to check | How EmailHippo structures it |
|---|---|
| What you are buying | One of four products, each priced on its own |
| Entry price | A monthly floor per product |
| Volume pricing | Set in a calculator above the floor |
| Highest volumes | Quoted by their sales team |
| Pay-as-you-go | Available, with a minimum transaction fee |
| Duplicate rows | Not charged |
| Unknown results | No billing policy on their public pages |
| Credit expiry | Not stated on their public pages |
EmailHippo's site sits behind a bot challenge and its docs return 403 to automated reads, so this page describes the pricing structure and quotes no figure. Read the calculator at your own volume on emailhippo.com. ZapBounce figures are from our own pricing page.
Four products, four price floors
EmailHippo's catalogue runs CORE for bulk verification, INSIGHT and ASSESS for intelligence and fraud scoring, and a WHOIS product for domain data. Each one starts at its own monthly price. If your job is cleaning a mailing list, CORE is the one to price.
Check your invoice before you compare anything. A team that signed up for fraud scoring on signups is paying for a different job, and a per-address verification rate won't describe that bill. Our note on how much email verification costs shows where verification alone sits in the market.
Working the calculator at your real volume
Above the entry floor, EmailHippo's price comes from a calculator, and the largest volumes go to its sales team. That means there's no fixed ladder to copy into a spreadsheet. Enter the volume you actually clean in a month, then divide the result by that number to get your rate per address.
Do the same for a quiet month and a busy one. A monthly floor costs the same whether you check 500 addresses or 50,000, so your rate per address moves with your volume. ZapBounce sells packs that never expire: $25 for 10,000, $139 for 100,000, and a monthly plan costs 15% less than the same credits pay-as-you-go. Every tier is on our pricing page.
Duplicates, unknowns and the credit clock
EmailHippo doesn't charge for duplicate rows, which is a fair rule. Its public pages don't state a policy on unknown results or on when unused credit expires, so ask both questions in writing before a large run.
ZapBounce never bills an unknown or a duplicate, and our credits never expire. Both rules are printed on the pricing page. Our list of which verifiers charge for unknowns and the note on whether credits expire cover the rest of the market.
Keeping the fraud tools and moving the list work
If you use EmailHippo's fraud and intelligence layers on signups, you can keep them and send bulk list cleaning elsewhere. The two jobs answer different questions: is this signup risky, and does this mailbox exist.
ZapBounce returns four results, valid, invalid, catch_all and unknown, with role, disposable and free-provider flags on each row. You get 100 free checks every month with no card to test a sample. The products side by side are on ZapBounce vs EmailHippo, and EmailHippo alternatives and the comparisons hub cover the wider field.
What EmailHippo gets right and wrong on price
Both columns are required here. A page that only fills one is an advertisement wearing a review's clothes.
Where EmailHippo is genuinely good
- Fraud scoring and domain intelligence from the same vendor as verification.
- Duplicate rows are not charged.
- Pay-as-you-go is available beside the monthly plans.
- A sales route for very high monthly volumes.
Where EmailHippo falls short
- Volume prices sit behind a calculator rather than a printed ladder.
- Each of the four products carries its own monthly floor.
- No public policy on billing unknown results or on credit expiry.
- Docs and pricing pages block automated reads, which makes a written comparison harder.

Does EmailHippo charge for duplicates?
No. EmailHippo does not charge for duplicate rows. Its public pages state no rule on unknown results, so ask before a large run. ZapBounce never bills unknowns or duplicates.
Which EmailHippo product is the email verifier?

Is there a published alternative to EmailHippo's calculator?

Enter your real monthly volume in EmailHippo's calculator and divide by the addresses you check. Set that rate beside our pricing and a free sample of the same list.
We publish our own ladder
Every tier on one page, 100 free checks a month with no card, and an unknown result is never billed. Read it beside EmailHippo’s, which we checked in September 2026.
