EmailListVerify pricing, explained
EmailListVerify prints its prices in plain figures, which makes the ladder easy to read. The number worth working out is a different one: what you pay for each address that comes back with a verdict you can act on.
| Volume | EmailListVerify | ZapBounce |
|---|---|---|
| 1,000 checks | $5 | $5 |
| 10,000 checks | $27 | $25 |
| 100,000 checks | $186 | $139 |
| Free credits | 100 | 100 every month, no card |
| Credit expiry | Never | Never |
| Unknown results | No billing policy stated | Never billed |
EmailListVerify figures read from emaillistverify.com in September 2026 (first on 18 September, rechecked 24 September). ZapBounce figures are from our own pricing page. Check both before you buy; prices change.
The ladder, tier by tier
At 1,000 addresses the two ladders meet at $5. From there EmailListVerify steps to $27 for 10,000 and $186 for 100,000. ZapBounce charges $25 and $139 at those volumes, and keeps going to $949 for a million on our pricing page.
Both vendors sell credits you keep. EmailListVerify credits never expire, and neither do ours. So a pack bought for one cleanup can wait for the next list without a clock running on it.
Cost per usable verdict
The price per check tells you what a run costs. It doesn't tell you what each answer costs. Divide the bill by the rows that came back valid or invalid, and you get the figure that matters when you plan a send.
Here's why it moves. Say 10,000 addresses cost $27, and 2,000 rows come back unknown or accept-all. If unknowns are billed, you paid for 10,000 checks and got 8,000 usable verdicts. ZapBounce leaves every unknown off the bill, so the rows you pay for are rows that got an answer. Our note on what an unknown result means lists the reasons we attach.
The question to ask before a large run
EmailListVerify's pages state no policy on billing unknown results. Ask before you upload a big file, especially one heavy with Yahoo, AOL or Microsoft 365 addresses. Those providers accept every probe or throttle cloud traffic by design, so any verifier returns more unknowns on them.
ZapBounce prints its rule on the pricing page: valid, invalid and catch_all rows cost a credit, and unknown rows, duplicates and errors cost nothing. See do email verification credits expire for how each vendor treats credit life too.
What the 97% figure means for price
EmailListVerify claims 97% accuracy. That's a figure about the verdicts it returned, the same kind as the 99% claims elsewhere in the market. It doesn't count the rows left without a verdict, which is where cost per usable verdict comes from.
ZapBounce reports coverage beside accuracy on every file, so you can do the division yourself. For the vendors side by side, read ZapBounce vs EmailListVerify and our EmailListVerify review, or browse the comparisons hub.
