ZapBounce vs Listwise

Listwise does the thing this category keeps refusing to do: it prints the whole price ladder, from ten thousand addresses to fifty million, with no calculator and no sales form in the way. Researching this market in September 2026 we could not read pricing at all for six vendors. Listwise took about ninety seconds.

Listwise figures read from their own pricing page in September 2026.

How Listwise prices it

Three prices for the same work, which is unusual and clear: $45 prepaid for ten thousand, $44 a month on subscription, or Premium from $408 a month at a hundred thousand if you need the real-time API. Prepaid credits never expire. At a hundred thousand addresses, $185 prepaid works out at $1.85 a thousand.

Where Listwise is the better choice

Stated plainly, because a comparison page that never concedes anything is not worth reading.

  • They publish every tier from 10,000 to 50 million addresses. Three of the vendors we researched in September 2026 hide theirs behind a calculator or a sales form, and Listwise simply prints the table.
  • Three ways to buy the same work, all published: prepaid credits, a monthly subscription, or a Premium tier carrying the real-time API. Most vendors here offer one shape and call it a choice.
  • Credits never expire, stated in their own words on the pricing page rather than implied.
  • They publish no accuracy percentage at all, which given what those percentages are calculated on is the more defensible position.

Where we differ

What ZapBounce does differently

  • Our entry is 1,000 addresses at $5. Their smallest pack is 10,000 at $45.
  • We report coverage next to accuracy once measured, and we never bill for unknowns.
  • Their Real-Time API sits behind a Premium tier at $408 a month for 100,000. Ours is not tiered separately.

Moving off Listwise

The 10,000-address floor, almost always. There is no pack below it, so a team cleaning a list of twelve hundred buys ten thousand credits or goes elsewhere. The credits never expire, which softens it, and it is still money out ahead of the need.

Simple in both directions. The one thing to check is the Premium tier, because that is where the Real-Time API lives. If a form or an application is calling it, that is a running dependency and the replacement has to be live before you cut over.

What Listwise cannot do either

Questions people ask about Listwise

Our list is 1,200 addresses. Can we use Listwise?

You would buy their smallest pack, ten thousand credits at $45, to clean twelve hundred. The credits never expire so nothing is wasted exactly, and it is still $45 out against $5 for a thousand with us. Above ten thousand addresses the floor stops mattering.

Who is cheaper at a hundred thousand?

We are, narrowly. Their prepaid price is $185 and ours is $139, which is $1.85 a thousand against $1.39. At ten thousand they are $45 and we are $25. Neither gap is dramatic, and their published ladder means you can check this yourself in a minute.

Listwise publishes no accuracy figure. Is that a gap?

It is a position, and the same one Bouncer, Emailable and Kickbox take. We have not published ours either, because we have not measured it yet. A number without its denominator describes the addresses that were never difficult.

Is ZapBounce cheaper than Listwise?

At 100,000 addresses we list $139 and they list $185 prepaid, or $158 a month. Compare the per-address rate rather than the headline, and check what each side does with unknowns.

Can I test both before deciding?

Yes, and you should. Run the same sample of a few thousand addresses through each and compare how many came back unresolved. That difference matters more than either accuracy claim.

If your list clears ten thousand addresses, this comes down to $1.85 a thousand against $1.39. Read their ladder yourself, since they published it.
