Email verification pricing compared
Verifying 1,000 emails costs $5 to $10 at the vendors that publish a 1,000-address price, read on each vendor's own pricing page in September 2026. EmailListVerify, emailverify.io and ZapBounce charge $5, Bouncer $8 and Kickbox $10. At 1 million, published prices run from $449 at MillionVerifier to $2,999 at Kickbox, with ZapBounce at $949.
The short version
- At 1,000 addresses, published prices run from $5 (EmailListVerify, emailverify.io, ZapBounce) to $10 (Kickbox).
- At 1 million addresses, the published range is $449 (MillionVerifier) to $2,999 (Kickbox). Bouncer charges $2,000 and ZapBounce $949.
- Six vendors hide their prices behind a calculator, a login or a bot wall, so this index shows their pricing model and no figure.
- Price per address is half the bill. Expiry rules and whether unknowns are charged change what a list really costs you.
Where these numbers come from
- Every price was read on the vendor's own pricing page. Bouncer, EmailListVerify, emailverify.io, Reoon, ZeroBounce, Emailable, DeBounce and Hunter were read on 2026-09-18 and again on 2026-09-24. Kickbox and MillionVerifier were read on 2026-09-24.
- Prices are pay-as-you-go credit packs in US dollars, the one-off price you pay for that many checks. Where a vendor sells only plans, the plan is named instead.
- NeverBounce, Clearout, Verifalia, QuickEmailVerification, BriteVerify and MyEmailVerifier show no readable price to a normal page fetch. They appear with their pricing model only, never a figure taken from a third party.
- ZapBounce's prices are its own published list on the pricing page.
What 1,000 to 1 million checks cost, vendor by vendor
The cheapest way to read this table is down a column. Pick the list size closest to yours and compare the pack price, because that's the number on your invoice.
A blank tier is not a missing price. Several vendors sell only above a minimum, or jump from one pack size to another, so they have no price at that exact volume.

Six vendors show a pricing model but no price you can read
Some verifiers put their prices inside a calculator that only runs in a browser, behind a login, or behind a bot check. A plain page fetch sees no figure at all, so neither does a search crawler or an answer engine.
For these six, the index records how they charge and leaves the figure out. A number copied from a review site could be two years old, and you'd have no way to tell.
| Vendor | How it charges | Why no figure here |
|---|---|---|
| NeverBounce | Pay-as-you-go credits and a monthly plan | Pricing page returns a captcha to every fetch |
| Clearout | Pay-as-you-go, monthly and annual plans; 100 free credits | Prices sit in a calculator |
| Verifalia | Credit packs; Standard, High and Extreme quality use 1, 2 and 4 credits | Prices print as placeholders |
| QuickEmailVerification | One-time credits and daily plans; 100 free a day | Tier prices sit in a calculator |
| BriteVerify | Sold through Validity | No public price |
| MyEmailVerifier | Credit packs | Whole site returns a block page |

Plans, minimums and half credits change the unit price
Not every vendor sells a simple pack. ZeroBounce's pay-as-you-go starts at $39 for 2,000 checks, and 10,000 a month sits on its ONE plan. Emailable sells from a 5,000 minimum, with 15% off on a subscription.
Hunter sells verification inside its monthly plans rather than as packs. One verification costs half a credit there, so a credit covers two checks.
DeBounce quotes from $0.00045 a check and keeps its tier prices in a calculator. When a vendor gives you a per-check rate instead of a pack price, ask what the smallest pack costs. That's the number you pay first.
ZapBounce sells packs with no minimum, from $5 for 1,000 checks, and a monthly plan costs 15% less than the same credits bought as packs. See every ZapBounce tier on one page.
Expiry and unknown billing decide what a list really costs
A low pack price means less if the credits you don't use this year vanish. Kickbox credits expire one year from purchase, and Hunter's credits can be used for 12 months. Bouncer, EmailListVerify, MillionVerifier, Reoon and DeBounce state that their credits never expire.
Unknown results matter as much. Kickbox, Emailable, Bouncer, Reoon, MillionVerifier, Hunter, Clearout and ZeroBounce all say unknowns are not charged. Our answer on whether credits expire lists the rules vendor by vendor.
ZapBounce credits never expire, and unknowns and duplicates are never billed. You pay for valid, invalid and catch_all results only, as the pricing page states.
How to work out your own cost in two minutes
Start with your list size and how often you clean it. Someone verifying 10,000 addresses once a quarter buys a different pack from someone checking 100,000 a month.
Then take away duplicates, since a list merged from two exports often repeats addresses. At ZapBounce you're never charged for a duplicate, so you can upload the raw file.
Last, check the free tier. ZapBounce gives 100 free checks every month with no card, which covers a small signup form's traffic on its own. Our cost answer walks through the sum with real list sizes.

Questions people ask
How much does email verification cost per 1,000 emails?
Between $5 and $10 at the vendors that publish a 1,000-address price, read in September 2026. EmailListVerify, emailverify.io and ZapBounce charge $5, Bouncer $8 and Kickbox $10. Some vendors sell only from a larger minimum, such as ZeroBounce at $39 for 2,000.
How much does it cost to verify 1 million email addresses?
Published prices for 1 million checks run from $449 at MillionVerifier to $2,999 at Kickbox, read in September 2026. Reoon charges $960, ZapBounce $949, emailverify.io $1,015 and Bouncer $2,000. Check the expiry rule too, because a million credits can take months to use.
Is a subscription cheaper than pay-as-you-go?
Often, if you verify every month. Emailable takes 15% off with a subscription. A ZapBounce monthly plan costs 15% less than the same credits bought as packs, and unused credits roll over while the plan is active. Pay-as-you-go suits lists you clean a few times a year.
Why can't I find NeverBounce or Clearout prices?
Both show their prices only inside a browser calculator or behind a bot check, so a plain page fetch reads no figure. This index lists how they charge and leaves the price out. Open their pricing pages in your own browser to see today's figures.
