A 5,000-credit floor with refunds after the run

Emailable's smallest purchase is 5,000 credits for $38. If you're cleaning 900 addresses, you still buy 5,000 credits, though they never expire, so the rest waits for your next file. A subscription takes 15% off, and its credits roll over.

Unknown results and duplicate rows are refunded once the run finishes. ZapBounce leaves both off the invoice from the start, so there's no credit note to reconcile. Our ladder starts at $5 for 1,000 checks with no minimum, and every tier is on the pricing page.

Risky is where catch-alls land

Emailable labels an accept-all domain Risky, and a Risky result is billed like any other. That's the norm: every vendor we read in September 2026 that states a catch-all rule bills it.

If you segment on that label, check what else sits under it before you send. ZapBounce keeps accept-all rows in their own catch_all result, bills one credit after a single random-address probe, and prints their share of the file as coverage. For the protocol behind it, read whether catch-all emails can be verified.

The guarantee and the accuracy claim

Emailable publishes no accuracy percentage. Instead it guarantees that no more than 1% of addresses marked Deliverable will bounce: 97% or better on Microsoft, 99% or better elsewhere. You qualify by sending at least 1,000 opt-in addresses within 24 hours and claiming within 72, per its guarantee page.

A bounce guarantee measures the addresses the vendor was sure about. It doesn't tell you how much of your file got a verdict at all. ZapBounce reports that as coverage on every list, next to the results. Our answer on what accuracy is actually achievable sets both numbers against Hunter's published benchmark.

Speed, security and data

Emailable says it checks 250,000 addresses in under 7 minutes, the quickest turnaround in the range we read across the market in September 2026. It keeps files for 3 to 30 days, a window you choose.

ZapBounce keeps results for 30 days by default, with a per-key window from 0 to 90 days, and deletes a batch on request. We never sell uploaded addresses or add them to a shared database. You can check a sample free: 100 credits every month, no card.

List sources and your terms

Emailable's terms say you must not use it on purchased or rented lists, or lists collected from the internet. If your team verifies data-provider exports, read that clause before you upload.

ZapBounce's terms ask you to confirm a lawful basis for every address, including lists from a data provider. The products side by side are on ZapBounce vs Emailable. Emailable pricing, Emailable vs ZeroBounce and the comparisons hub cover the rest.

The scorecard on Emailable

Both columns are required here. A page that only fills one is an advertisement wearing a review's clothes.

Where Emailable is genuinely good

  • Unknowns and duplicates are refunded, and credits never expire.
  • A published speed figure: 250,000 addresses in under 7 minutes.
