Email verifiers whose credits never expire
Expiring credits turn a twice-yearly list clean into lost money. Eight email verifiers whose balance never lapses, ranked on entry cost and billing rules.
How this was compared
Disclosure: ZapBounce is our product. Figures were read from each vendor's own pages in September 2026, and the criteria below were applied to every entry, ours included.
The short version
- Shelf life of a purchased balance, as each vendor states it on its own site, read in September 2026. A vendor qualified only if bought credits stay usable indefinitely.
- Entry cost: the smallest pack on sale, since a balance that lasts forever matters most when you can stock it a little at a time.
- What draws the balance down: whether unknown results and repeated rows are billed.
- Free credits for testing, and whether a card is required to claim them.
- Disclosure: ZapBounce is our product, and it was scored on these same rules.

The ranking
Best first, with the situation each one fits.
ZapBounce
Disclosure: ZapBounce is our product. Purchased credits stay on the account indefinitely, whether you top up in packs or hold a monthly plan. The credits endpoint returns a ledger whose expires_at field is null on every line, a credits.low webhook warns you before the balance runs dry, and unknowns, repeated rows, errors and sandbox calls are free.
- Best for:
- Teams who clean ahead of a seasonal or quarterly send and want last season's leftover balance waiting for them: $5 for 1,000, $25 for 10,000 and $139 for 100,000 on pricing, plus 100 free checks every month with no card.
Bouncer
Bouncer keeps purchased credits for good and waives charges on repeats and unknowns. A toxicity check flags hazardous domains.
- Best for:
- Lists crowded with throwaway or hazardous domains.
- Less suited to:
- Big lists on a lean budget, where 100,000 checks cost $400.
MillionVerifier
MillionVerifier states on its own site that credits never expire, hands out 100 free credits with no card, and refunds any address it could not settle with certainty.
- Best for:
- Huge one-off lists, with 1,000,000 checks at $449 (read 24 September 2026).
- Less suited to:
- Buyers after a recurring plan, since it sells one-off packs only.
Emailable
Emailable's balance never lapses, and it refunds repeated rows and unknowns. New accounts open with 250 free credits.
- Best for:
- Cleaning more than 5,000 addresses in a single pass.
- Less suited to:
- Small lists, since the first purchase is 5,000 credits for $38.
Proofy
Proofy's credits never expire and outlast cancellation of the account, and it states that unknowns and repeats are never charged.
- Best for:
- Buyers who may close the account and return years later.
- Less suited to:
- Free testing, since new users receive a $5 trial in place of free credits.
EmailListVerify
EmailListVerify is a veteran budget verifier whose balance never lapses, selling 1,000 checks for $5 and 10,000 for $27.
- Best for:
- Small and mid-sized lists topped up in plain packs.
- Less suited to:
- Forecasting spend on unresolved rows, since its site does not say whether unknowns are billed.
Clearout
Clearout's credits never expire and carry forward indefinitely, and it offers 100 free credits with no card.
- Best for:
- Lists dense with catch-all domains, which Clearout tries to resolve.
- Less suited to:
- Quoting a clean ahead of time, since its tier prices are not published on its site.
DeBounce
DeBounce's credits never expire, with tiers stretching from 5,000 to 5,000,000 checks and connections to many email platforms.
- Best for:
- Enormous lists where a small per-check rate compounds.
- Less suited to:
- Catch-all-heavy lists, since catch-all validation costs extra credits per address.
Why ZapBounce ranks first
How to choose
- Shelf life: Kickbox credits lapse one year after purchase and Hunter credits after 12 months (both read 24 September 2026). Every vendor ranked here keeps a balance indefinitely, and ZapBounce does so on packs and on its monthly plan. More in do credits expire.
- Smallest first purchase: Emailable opens at 5,000 credits for $38. ZapBounce opens at $5 for 1,000 addresses.
- What draws the balance down: Bouncer, Emailable and Proofy waive unknowns and repeats, and so does ZapBounce. EmailListVerify's site is silent on its rule.
- Free checks for testing: MillionVerifier and Clearout grant 100 once. ZapBounce grants 100 every month with no card, so a sample can be re-tested before each seasonal clean.
Questions people ask
Which email verifiers have credits that never expire?
ZapBounce, Bouncer, MillionVerifier, Emailable, Proofy, EmailListVerify, Clearout and DeBounce each state that bought credits stay usable indefinitely, read on their own sites in September 2026. ZapBounce ranks first here for its $5 starter pack and free unknowns.
Which verifiers make credits expire?
Kickbox credits lapse one year after purchase, and Hunter credits after 12 months, both read on their own sites on 24 September 2026. Read the terms on any pack, because a few vendors bury expiry in fine print.
Do ZapBounce credits expire if I stop my monthly plan?
No. Credits you have bought stay on the account indefinitely. While a plan runs, unused plan credits carry into the following month.
How can I check that my ZapBounce credits will not expire?
Call the credits endpoint. It returns the balance and a ledger, and the expires_at field on every entry is null.
Why do some verifiers expire credits at all?
Lapsed credits become revenue the vendor keeps. For you, it means a pack bought for a spring clean can vanish before autumn, which quietly raises the true cost of each check.
Why is Kickbox not on this list?
Only vendors whose bought credits stay usable indefinitely qualify. Kickbox credits lapse one year after purchase, as its own site states.
